This bold design celebrates one of the 9 ryūha of the Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu taught by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. With roots tracing back to 1156 and the Chinese Tang Dynasty, the Gyokko Ryu, meaning Jeweled or Jade Tiger School, is honored with a powerful Sumatran Tiger in jade hues.

The kanji in the center, 玉 虎 流 骨 指 術, represents the Gyokko-ryū Kosshi Jutsu, interpreted as the ability to defeat the enemy with a single touch. The backbone symbol on the right nods to Kosshijutsu, known as the backbone of martial arts within the Bujinkan. The image of Soke Hatsumi Masaaki performing the Ichimonji no kamae brings the past and present together in a powerful display of warrior spirit.
