Gyokko-ryū Kosshi Jutsu is one of the 9 ryūha that are apart of the Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu taught by Soke Masaaki Hatsumi. Gyokko Ryu was founded by Tozawa Hakuunsai in 1156, with roots that go back to the Chinese Tang Dynasty.
Gyokko Ryu in English means the Jeweled or Jade Tiger School. This is why the design includes a Sumatran Tiger and using the color Jade.
Kosshijutsu can be interpreted as “to knock down the enemy with one finger.” Koshi can be translated as "backbone", and Kosshijutsu is often referred to as the backbone of martial arts within the Bujinkan.

The main design is located on the back of the T-shirt, with the Bujinkan Kanji on the front left chest.
This is designed for those who walk the path of Budo and wish to remind themselves along with others of the ongoing journey we are all on.
